Joey Vallejo
Born and raised in the Peninsula / San Francisco Bay Area, Joey knew from a young age that he would pursue a career in the graphic arts. He has been drawing since the age of five and has continued his passion for design ever since. In high school, his love for art was encouraged by the recognition he received for his work. Before launching into his career, he earned his degree in Graphic Design/Multimedia Communications at Master’s Institute.
He has 12 years experience using various applications in both Macintosh and PC platforms. His employment experience consists of graphic design, web design, illustration, icon design, wireframing and mockups, print/vendor management, creative direction, small business marketing solutions, sales and I.T. support. His college education has brought his well-developed fine arts/interpersonal skills into the professional career environment.
"I am an accomplished designer with a unique balance of creative and technical expertise, coupled with a strong background in graphic design, web design and print. Throughout the years, I have helped clients develop corporate and brand identities, as well as market positioning.
My experience ranges from designing web-based products for consumer-oriented websites, print and marketing collateral for small to large businesses, working in different aesthetic styles as appropriate to product and industry, developing multiple concepts that fulfill project requirements, to making clean, easy to understand visual content for the web. I understand the importance of knowing the long-term vision of a company and how to accurately and consistently reflect and strengthen that message in all visual and written communications".
